The Chocolate Chip Scones

These healthy chocolate chip scones are the perfect treat! Great for a brunch with friends or to enjoy with a cup of coffee or your favorite tea!

Scones are one of those baked goods that can be sweet or savory, perfect with coffee and tea, welcome at any time and everywhere; brunch, snack time, dessert, breakfast!

Scones can be tricky but this recipe promises uniquely crisp and buttery scones with crumbly corners and a soft, flaky interior.

The Best Scone Recipe Ever

The Flour

For this recipe we’ll be using two different flours to achieve the perfect texture! You will need oat flour and coconut flour. Oat and coconut flour go really well together and the mixture turns out a perfect combination between not overly crumbly but still crumbly enough!

The Sweetener

For this scones we will use just 1/4 cup of maple syrup. Scones are not overly sweet so this amount is just perfect, plus we’ll be adding some chocolate chips to amp up the sweetness :)
